General Surgery Residency-Preliminary Position

Stanford General Surgery Training Program is looking to fill a PGY-2 preliminary position to start duties on June 25, 2022

Application materials must be uploaded as 1 PDF file (letters of rec are an exception) and the file needs to start with the applicant’s last name ( Example- Hagan.Anita_Application or Hagan.Anita_Letter )

• Personal statement
• Current CV
• USMLE scores
• ABSITE scores
• Medical school diploma
• Medical school transcripts

Foreign medical graduates:

• Must have a current valid certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG)
• No more than 1 year out of medical school
• At least 1 year of US clinical experience is required in an ACGME accredited program
• We only accept J-1 visas- NO EXCEPTIONS ·3 letters of recommendation – can be uploaded as separate files (reminder to name the file using applicants lastname.firstname)

If the applicant has already applied in ERAS, please complete our online application form and notify Anita Hagan; no need to submit documents, except for ABSITE scores.
