The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Health and Hospital Elmhurst Pediatrics Residency Program has an opening for a categorical PGY-2 Pediatric position starting July 1, 2020

The Elmhurst Hospital Pediatrics Residency Program, under the auspices of The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, one of the premier medical schools in the nation, combines an outstanding academic curriculum with a wide breadth of clinical experiences to create a dynamic educational environment. Elmhurst Hospital Center, a member of New York City’s municipal health care system, serves a culturally-diverse community of more than one million people in western Queens County. This largely immigrant population, representing over 100 nationalities, is a rich source of educational experiences for the training of residents, and provides an opportunity to address a multiplicity of health care needs for an at-risk population.

We are an ACGME certified Pediatrics Residency Program with 13 categorical positions per year and 2 chief residents.

Prerequisites:

Applicants must have completed a year of residency training in Pediatrics, be in good standing in an ACGME accredited program and have been authorized by their current Program Director to apply for an interview.
