General Surgery Research Fellowship

The General Surgery Research fellow is a 1-year fellowship in clinical outcome research at the Donald Guthrie Foundation (DGF), an affiliate of Guthrie/Robert Packer Hospital. The fellow will participate in research activities and meetings with General Surgery Department and the foundation. General Surgery Research Fellow will gain experience in methodology, study design, statistical analysis, manuscript preparation, and presentation.

The fellow will work under the mentorship of physicians in the Department of General Surgery at Guthrie/Robert Packer Hospital. The fellow will be supported by faculty, biostatistician, surgical residents, and medical students. Trainees will become familiar with general surgery through participation in weekly meetings.
