Vascular Surgery Fellowship

The Division of Vascular Surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska is accepting applicants for an ACGME-accredited, 2-year independent Vascular Surgery Fellowship position beginning August 1, 2021 with a flexible start date. Due to an unanticipated vacancy, we currently have a PGY6 position available.

The incoming trainee will join one additional fellow and 7 vascular surgery faculty, 4 advanced practice providers, and ample support staff at our 678 bed, Level 1 trauma, tertiary referral center.

Prerequisites:

This fellowship is appropriate for individuals who have completed 5 year, ACGME-accredited general surgery residency and are interested in formal training in vascular and endovascular surgery.

Applicants are required to have successfully completed an ACGME-accredited five-year general surgery program by the start date of the program.

  • three letters of recommendation (one from their General surgery program director),
  • ABSITE and Board Examination scores (if applicable),
  • a personal statement.
