Emergency-Trauma Radiology Fellowship

Emergency-Trauma Radiology Fellowship

Our mission is to provide practical, in-depth experience in the effective imaging of the acutely injured or ill patient. At the conclusion of the fellowship, trainees will have the requisite skills for either an entirely clinical practice setting or for academics.

Our Emergency Radiology Division has a strong working relationship with the Ryder Trauma Center which is a Level I adult and pediatric trauma center in Miami-Dade County. Ryder Trauma treats an average of 4,000 patients each year, making it one of the busiest trauma centers in South Florida.

The continued increase in emergency department patient volumes has promoted a demand for emergency radiologists in academic, clinical, and private practices.
