Endovascular Fellowship

Cerebrovascular and CNS endovascular neurosurgery is comprehensive, established, and thriving subspecialty with in a multi-specialty department. The service includes three cerebrovascular and endovascular neurosurgeons focused on providing the breadth of endovascular approaches to treat cerebrovascular disease.

The CAST (Committee on Accreditation of Subspecialty Training) certified CNS Endovascular Fellowship at the UNMC Department of Neurosurgery offers a 1 year fellowship. Applicants must meet the completion requirement of 100 supervised diagnostic cerebral angiograms.

Prerequisites:

Applicants must complete preliminary subspecialty training in one of the following:

Neurosurgeons

  • Satisfactory completion of a 7-year ACGME approved residency or be enfolded in the post Chief Residency Year
  • Satisfactory participation in all ABNS CC/MOC requirements
