Gastrointestinal Pathology Fellowship

Gastrointestinal Pathology Fellowship

Our Gastrointestinal Pathology fellowship, which has been preparing trainees for careers in gastrointestinal pathology for more than 20 years, is led by the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and the Department of Medicine’s Division of Gastroenterology and is based at The Mount Sinai Health System.

Our graduates have attained international recognition in gastrointestinal pathology and have gone on to fill leading positions at prestigious medical institutions in the United States and around the world.

Mount Sinai is internationally renowned both as heir to a rich tradition in gastroenterology and as a leader in the field, with preeminence in, among others, the diagnosis and management of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, laparoscopic bowel surgery, clinical research in IBD, and basic research in gastrointestinal (GI) oncology and immunology.
