Pediatric Radiology Fellowship

The Pediatric Radiology Fellowship Training program at UAB is an ACGME accredited one-year program based at the Children’s of Alabama, located in Birmingham and attached to University Hospital. Children’s of Alabama serves the greater southeastern United States and is the only medical center in Alabama dedicated solely to the care and treatment of children.

Prerequisites:

Applicants must meet the following criteria in order to be considered for the program:

• Completed LCME-approved US or Canadian medical school, or AOA-accredited Osteopathic medical school
• Satisfactory completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency
• Passing scores on USMLE Steps 1, 2 and 3

• Completed Application Form
• Personal Statement (letter of interest)
• Updated CV, including scholarly activities and QI projects
• Three Letters of Recommendation, one of which from residency Program Director
• Medical School Transcript
• Residency Certificate or Confirmation of Anticipated Completion from residency program
• USMLE Transcript / Scores for Steps 1, 2 (CK & CS), and 3
• ECFMG certificate (if International Medical Graduate)
