Hematopathology Fellowship

The Hematopathology Fellowship is a one-year, ACGME- approved program designed to provide advanced, in-depth training in hematopathology. Competency in hematopathology will include the acquisition of an appropriate knowledge base required to practice this specialty.

As the hematopathology fellow is central to our clinical academic work, they are critical components of our multidisciplinary approach to leukemia and lymphoma care for University of Miami/Jackson Health System.

Prerequisites:

Medical Licensing Examination:
All applicants must successfully complete United States Medical Licensing Examination Steps 1, 2 and 3 prior to the start of the program.

Postgraduate Training:
Candidates should be MDs or DOs who have completed at least two years of residency training in AP or AP/CP within the United States (ACGME accredited) or within Canada. Candidates must be certified (or are eligible for certification) by the American Board of Pathology.
