The Division of Pediatric Cardiology at UC San Diego – Rady Children’s Hospital is offering an imaging fellowship for a qualified candidate with an interest in advanced training in pediatric echocardiography, fetal echocardiography and cardiac MRI.
The imaging fellowship is designed as a 2-year fellowship as funding is supported through clinical work, not to exceed 40% of the trainee’s time. Clinical work may include outpatient clinics, at the main campus or satellite clinics, inpatient service, or the equivalent depending on the clinical needs of the division. Training time will be comprised of 40% clinical training time and 20% research. It is expected that at least one academic project is completed and published by the end of training.
Candidates should be graduates of an ACGME-accredited pediatric cardiology training program in the US.
A California medical license is required for this fellowship program. All applicants must be eligible for medical licensure in the State of California. J-1 Visas are not accepted for this fellowship at this time.
Applications will be accepted from December 1st, 2023, through January 12th, 2024, with a planned start date of July 1st, 2024.
