Pediatric Residency

UC San Diego’s Pediatric Residency Program has an open PGY2/3 position starting July 2024.

We are searching for a qualified resident who is eager to train with us! Our residents train primarily at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego, the only standalone children’s hospital in San Diego, in addition to several other incredible sites.

All of our different training sites offer a unique experience and varied patient population, helping to prepare our residents to become the most well-rounded and well-trained pediatricians possible. In addition to these clinical experiences, we value the importance of personal growth and career development that takes place outside of the hospital and encourage community-based rotations, advocacy, global health electives, research opportunities, and individualized electives.
