The Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at LSU - New Orleans is currently seeking a medical student or resident to complete a funded one year research fellowship with an emphasis in clinical microsurgery to begin in July 2020.
We are a high volume clinical program with many ongoing research projects as well as several larger studies planned, and are looking for a motivated individual with an interest in plastic surgery for this position. This individual will be responsible for maintaining clinical databases, coordinating statistical analysis of data, facilitating completion of existing projects, and spearheading new efforts.
There is the expectation that this individual will publish multiple papers and present at multiple national meetings during the course of the year. Funding has been made available for a salary stipend as well as travel to conferences.
