Advanced Cardiac Imaging Fellowship

Advanced Cardiac Imaging Fellowship

The UW Advanced Cardiac Imaging fellowship is a one-year training program. Our program accepts one fellow per year. Applicants who have completed general cardiology fellowship training are welcome to apply.

The major purpose of this fellowship training is to prepare individuals for careers in academic medicine. It is anticipated that at the end of their training, these highly qualified and skilled individuals will be able to launch on a productive research and clinical career. It is expected that fellows will achieve level III certification in echocardiography and either be eligible to become directors of echocardiography laboratories or to work as cardiac imagers and researchers in academic medical centers.
