Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship

The Division of Musculoskeletal Imaging at UPMC is offering a one-year Non-ACGME Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship starting July 1, 2022. The University of Pittsburgh Department of Radiology’s Musculoskeletal Fellowship program is one of the most established and respected post-residency training programs in the nation. The Musculoskeletal Division is integral to the care of trauma patients, athletes at all levels of skill, patients with arthritis, total joint replacements and back pain, as well as those with bone and soft tissue tumors. The Division provides consultative service for the Pittsburgh Penguins, Pittsburgh Steelers, and the athletic teams of the University of Pittsburgh, as well as other local colleges and high schools.

The Musculoskeletal Fellowship provides advance training in interpretation of musculoskeletal radiography, ultrasound, CT and MRI, as well as performance of musculoskeletal intervention, including arthrography, CT and ultrasound-guided bone and soft tissue biopsies. The Fellowship covers all aspects of orthopedic imaging; including trauma, oncology and sports medicine, and rheumatology imaging.
