Independent Clinical Fellowship in Body Imaging

The Department of Diagnostic Radiology at North Shore University Hospital/Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell offers a multi-modality, one-year Body Imaging Fellowship with exposure to advanced cross-sectional imaging of the chest, abdomen and pelvis which includes diagnostic ultrasound, computed body tomography, MR and imaging guided procedures.

Vascular US, CT and MRI studies are also performed. In addition, a combined Body/Breast Imaging fellowship is offered. The department provides imaging support for 11 hospitals in the health system, as well as numerous outpatient facilities. The program combines a broad array of didactic teaching with high volume clinical learning opportunities. Graduates of the program go on to have successful careers in both academic and private practices.

Prerequisites:

Trainees must complete an ACGME- accredited diagnostic radiology residency training program. A New York state license is required prior to beginning the training program.
