The goal of the Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy (BMTCT) Fellowship at Children’s National Hospital and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is to provide advanced clinical and research training to senior fellows interested in pursuing a career dedicated to the field.
The NIH and Children’s National are recruiting candidates for a one-year fellowship. The overall objective is to provide BMTCT fellows with extensive experience in a wide variety of diagnoses such that they become experts in BMTCT clinical management. BMTCT fellows are expected to manage their panel of primary patients from initial consults through weighing treatment options and providing longitudinal care through inpatient and outpatient clinical care.
