Welcome to the Obstetric Anesthesiology Fellowship Program in the department of anesthesiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. This one-year program provides fellows not only the best possible education in the science of obstetric anesthesiology, but trains excellent professionals with high ethical standards and values. The department is well-equipped to deliver quality care and education.
Fellows are given opportunities to master clinical techniques unique to the practice of obstetrical anesthesiology. Our obstetric unit is comprised of a significant high-risk population of parturients with obstetric disorders as well as cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological and endocrine disorders.

All applicants must be a graduate of an ACGME-accredited anesthesiology training program. We are unable to sponsor visas.
Licensing Requirements: An unrestricted Florida medical license is preferred, but a training license is acceptable. Should a fellow obtain an unrestricted medical license in Florida, it is solely his/her responsibility to maintain active status with the Medical Board, including timely renewal and payment of all associated fees.
