General Surgery Residency - Categorical Position

Mercy Health – St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital General Surgery Residency Program has an open position for a categorical PGY-2 to start July 1, 2022.

Prerequisites:

We are looking for an applicant who will be completing a preliminary PGY-1 or preliminary PGY-2 year at an ACGME-approved General Surgery residency program by 2022 and is in good standing with his/her current program.

• MSPE (Dean's letter)
• USMLE/COMLEX Transcripts (a first-time pass on all exams is required)

• ECFMG certificate (if applicable)
• Citizenship/Visa Status
• Defined Category Case Log Report
• General Surgery Year 2 Minimum Case Log Report
• 3 letters of recommendation from current faculty – 1 must be from current Program Director
