Independent Clinical Fellowship in Endourology

The Independent Clinical Fellowship in Endourology at North Shore University Hospital & Long Island Jewish Medical Center (NS/LIJ) is a two-year postgraduate course designed to train urologists with plans to pursue an academic career. The two-year program integrates clinical and research work in stone disease, urologic oncology, reconstructive surgery and ureteral strictures. The fellow will have attending privileges as junior staff/ clinical instructor appointments. The fellow will spend the first year alternating between the North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center campuses for clinical duties.

Research projects encompassing basic science and clinical research work will be conducted in parallel with the clinical responsibilities. All fellows will work together on research projects; this arrangement facilitates exchange of ideas continually and ensures that various projects are completed within the appropriate time frame.
