Pediatric Residency

Pediatric Residency

Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Flushing, NY was established in 1884, and is an A.C.G.M.E. accredited not-for-profit teaching hospital and the first hospital in Queens, NY. We are currently recruiting a second-year pediatric resident to begin July 1, 2024.

We are an ACGME accredited Pediatric Residency program of 30 residents. We seek candidates who have a growth mindset, demonstrate excellent communication skills, are enthusiastic about learning, teamwork, and serving our community of children and families in their daily work.

The strengths of our program are the diversity of experiences providing direct patient care, the active collaboration with general pediatric and subspecialty faculty, and our shared commitment to providing equitable, excellent medical care. Rotations in the Pediatric Inpatient unit, Pediatric Emergency Room, Nursery, Level III NICU and Ambulatory Care occur at our community hospital. Compulsory and elective rotations are offered at many regional University Hospitals.
