Neurohospitalist Fellowship

Neurohospitalist Fellowship

The Cleveland Clinic Department of Neurology one-year Neurohospitalist Fellowship Program is organized to prepare trainees to practice in academic and large medical centers, as well as to lead their own clinical neurohospitalist programs.

There are several distinct components of the program:

  • Trainees will serve as fellows during rotations on the acute stroke consultation service, the epilepsy consultation service, the neurocritical care service, and the tele-neurology and tele-stroke services.
  • Trainees will have semi-independent practice on the general neurology and neurology consultation services to develop skills leading resident hospital teams.
  • There will be training in approaches to optimize patient experience, length of stay, HCAHPs, and re-admission management.
