The Northwestern Medicine Acute and Critical Care Occupational Therapy Fellowship Program is an intensive and specialized learning experience. It is designed to equip occupational therapists with the advanced skills and knowledge they need to excel in acute and critical care settings.

How To Apply:

  • Application requirements
    • AOTA membership (must have within 90 days of starting the fellowship)
    • NBCOT-certification or that you are eligible to take the NBCOT exam by June 15, 2024
    • Active Illinois occupational therapy license or applying for Illinois OT license by July 1, 2024
    • CPR/BLS certification
    • Written personal statement on why you are interested in an acute and critical care fellowship program
    • Student rotation in acute care or acute care experience
    • Two letters of recommendation
      • One letter from a clinical instructor or supervisor from an acute care rotation
      • One letter from a professor
