Cutaneous Oncology Fellowship

Cutaneous Oncology Fellowship

The Cutaneous Oncology Fellowship is a non-ACGME accredited, one-year, paid position. The fellowship offers intensive mentorship and guidance by the supervising faculty, Dr. Katherine Brag and other BIDMC dermatologists. Through graduated autonomy and consistent one-on-one teaching, the fellow will develop multi-dimensional insight into the management of complex oncologic cases, with an emphasis on dermoscopy, interdisciplinary care, and systemic therapy.

The program seeks to develop a dermatologist who considers all angles of cutaneous oncologic care, and it provides a unique foundation for a future niche expertise. Fellows will be expected to publish and present original research. Research focus will be medical education in dermatology and cutaneous oncology. Fellows will have the opportunity to participate in the Pigmented Lesion Clinic, Cutaneous Oncology Program Clinic, and Complex Medical Dermatology Clinic. Board eligible fellows can participate in weekly excision clinic.
