The BIDMC Fellowship in Disaster Medicine is a 1-year program in which fellows develop an expertise in all aspects of Disaster Medicine through a robust, personalized didactic and field-based curriculum, taught by faculty with vast domestic and global experience.

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) Fellowship in Disaster Medicine is now celebrating its 16th year in operation, with over 100 alumni in the United States and around the world.

Qualified fellows develop an expertise in all aspects of Disaster Medicine, including mass casualty care, EMS disaster operations, humanitarian crisis response, chemical/biological/radiological/nuclear (CBRN), hospital-based emergency management, disaster simulation, and counter-terrorism medicine.
