Medical Simulation Research Fellowship

STRATUS offers a 2-year, SAEM-approved Education and Research Fellowship in Medical Simulation. During this hybrid program, fellows will learn and practice all aspects of simulation-based education and research, with a primary role in the Human Factors and Cognitive Engineering Lab. Fellows will also complete a Master of Science in Health Professions Education at the MGH Institute of Health Professions, and will have an appointment as a postdoctoral research fellow at both Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School.

In addition to having an active role in all STRATUS educational activities, fellows will have the opportunity to work in ongoing research projects, participate in monthly research seminars and design, develop and execute their own research idea through a capstone project.

How To Apply:

Applications for the fellowship will be accepted from interested physicians who have completed an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency with a record of achievement in medical education and research. The application phase will begin in March 2020 for a July 1, 2021 start.
