The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine is accepting applications for a one-year fellowship in dermatopathology. The position focuses on obtaining excellent diagnostic skills in Dermatopathology and provides ample opportunities for teaching, research, and interdepartmental collaboration.
The Dermatopathology Division is housed in a world class, dedicated core pathology laboratory that is located on the beautiful Indianapolis central canal and cultural trail. Cutaneous specimens (more than 15,000 accessions annually) are received from the five hospitals on the academic health campus (Indiana University Hospital, Methodist Hospital, Eskenazi Hospital, Riley Children’s Hospital, and Roudebush Veterans Affairs Hospital), other hospitals in the state-wide IU Health network, and private dermatology practices. A robust volume of consultation cases are received from Indiana and surrounding states.

Applicants from pathology and dermatology backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Prior to the start of fellowship, incoming fellows must be board eligible for AP/CP or AP, or for Dermatology. Stipends are commensurate with the level of postgraduate training.
The application deadline is August 1st, 23 months prior to the start of fellowship.
