Disaster & Operational Medicine Fellowship

Goals and Objectives

  • Provide the Fellow with the fundamentals of prehospital and hospital emergency management
  • Provide the Fellow with the fundamentals of operational medicine in its various forms
  • Provide the Fellow with the fundamentals of emergency medical services direction and management
  • Provide the Fellow with opportunities for professional growth within the field, including:
    • Research
    • Education
    • Conferences
  • Provide the Fellow with an advanced degree, typically a Masters Degree, from GWU.
  • Provide the Fellow with a wide network of contacts and colleagues from the federal to the local level.

Prerequisites:

  • Fellows accepted into the program must be ACGME board eligible or board certified in emergency medicine.
  • Fellows must be US Citizens and able to pass a background check
