General Surgery Residency-Preliminary Position

Geisinger Medical Center's General Surgery Residency program has an opening for a preliminary PGY-2 position to begin July 1, 2022.

Prerequisites:

To be eligible, applicants must be a current resident in good standing in an ACGME-accredited general surgery residency program.

• Current CV,
• Medical School Transcript/Dean’s letter & Diploma,
• USMLE Scores 1, 2 & 3 (all Steps must be passed),
• ABSITE scores,
• 3 letters of recommendation including one from the current Program Director,
• Summative Competency-Based Evaluations,
• Current Defined Category Case Log Report,
• list of completed rotations for all years of training & copy of ECFMG (if applicable).

We do NOT sponsor H-1 visas.
