Bariatric Surgery Fellowship

Position now open for Bariatric Surgery Fellow for 2022-2023. One year clinical Fellowship with clinical and academic experience. Mixture of Sleeve, Bypass and revision surgeries, about 300 a year. 10-15% Robotic surgery and about 200-250 EGDs and colonoscopies. 10% general Surgery (hernias and gallbladders). All surgeries are Laparoscopic or Robotic. Only one fellow per year. Faculty with overall experience of over 21 years in the Bariatric and Minimally Invasive Surgery. Program has applied for Centre of excellence for Bariatrics with American College of Surgeons. Compensation commensurate with PGY-6 salary in the state.

Prerequisites:

• Candidates with ONLY US SURGICAL RESIDENCY WHO HAS COMPLETED 5 YEARS
• Candidate should be able to and must have license to Practice in State of Maryland by the beginning of the program.
• Must have advanced Laparoscopic skills
• No visa waivers of any sort offered.
