Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Position

The Mercy Health Muskegon Geriatric Medicine Fellowship has 2 open spots for the 2019-2020 academic year which can be filled immediately upon completion of interview and licensure requirements.

Wherever you choose to care for the geriatric population, our fellowship will give you the knowledge and skills you need to provide person-centered, multidisciplinary team based care for each of your elderly patients across the continuum of care. You will deliver care in outpatient settings (as consultants and primary care providers), hospitals, retirement communities, assisted living facilities, long term care facilities and private residences. Rotations in the fellowship will include longitudinal and/or rotational experiences in all the previously mentioned locations, as well as experiences in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Neurology, Geriatric Psychiatry, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Bladder Health, Wound Care, Program for the All-Inclusive Care of the Elderly (PACE). The curriculum includes robust didactics, journal clubs and institutional access to Geriatrics Care Online, The American Geriatric Society's (AGS) online educational portal.
