University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Residency Program has an available position for Cancer Rehabilitation Fellowship to start on July 1, 2021.

At the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Residency Program our goal is to instruct and prepare compassionate physicians to practice independently in the specialty of PM&R. Who will be life-long learners and contribute significantly to the quality of life of their patients, the field, and society at large by providing and promoting excellent whole person care, quality teaching, and evidence based scholarship. Create a feeling of teamwork among each other to accomplish the educational tasks at hand. Gain progressive clinical competence to practice the PM&R specialty independently as measured by achievement of graduation milestones in the competency areas of “Patient Care, Medical Knowledge, Systems-Based Practice, Practice-Based Learning and Improvement, Professionalism, and Interpersonal and Communication Skills,” across a spectrum of ages, impairments, and clinical settings. This includes proficiency with joint, soft tissue, ultrasound-guided, spine, and spasticity injections, and electrodiagnostic testing.

Prerequisite:

In order to apply for this Cancer Rehabilitation Fellowship you are required to complete a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency program.
