The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), in conjunction with the Firefighter Regional Burn Center at Regional One Health is accepting applications for its Plastic Surgery Burn Fellowship program - one position for the 2022-2023 academic year with a start date of July 1, 2022.
The fellowship is part of the Department of Surgery in the UTHSC College of Medicine. This is a nonstandard, non-ACGME accredited fellowship. The Burn Fellowship includes all aspects of acute and reconstructive burn care, as well as adult and pediatric intensive care. The fellowship will provide the trainee experience in acute resuscitation, operative treatment, critical care, burn rehabilitation, and burn scar reconstruction. As Tennessee’s only public, statewide, academic health system, UTHSC brings the benefits of the health sciences to the achievement and maintenance of human health, with a focus on the citizens of Tennessee and the region, by pursuing an integrated program of education, research, clinical care, and public service.
Applicants should submit a copy of their CV, personal statement of interest/goals, and three letters of reference to the Fellowship Program Coordinator.
