Combined Abdominal & Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship

The Combined Body & Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship at the George Washington Univeristy Hospital (GWUH) and George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates is a single one-year position. We are accepting applications for the 2022-2023 and 2023-24 academic years. This is a single position that may be filled with a fellow in the "Combined Body & MSK" or "Abdominal Imaging" fellowship track. This fellowship does not participate in the match.

This fellowship will provide advanced training and procedural skills in Body and Musculoskeletal imaging, with emphasis on Body and Musculoskeletal MR training. The fellowship is divided into thirteen 4-week blocks. The fellow will rotate through eight 4-week blocks of Body imaging and five 4-week blocks of Musculoskeletal radiology.

Prerequisites:

  1. American Board of Radiology (ABR) board eligible, having completed 4 years of U.S. radiology residency by the start of the fellowship. Internationally-trained applicants must complete at least 3 years of Graduate Medical Education (GME) certified post graduate residency within the United States to be considered for the position.
  2. Eligible to obtain medical licensure in the District of Columbia prior to the start of the fellowship. For information on how to obtain a DC medical license, visit the D.C. Health Professional Licensing Administration.
