The University of Miami Pediatric Infectious Disease Fellowship Program is seeking a first year Pediatric Infectious Disease Fellow to begin fellowship on July 1, 2022. The fellowship is entirely funded by the Holtz Children’s Hospital/ Jackson Health System and is accredited by the Council for Graduate Medical Education of the American Medical Association, and the Sub-Board of Pediatric Infectious Disease.
The fellowship training program provides a unique blend of clinical experiences and research opportunities. We offer training in the management of general Pediatric Infectious Disease, including, but not limited to, bacterial/fungal/viral sepsis; osteomyelitis and pneumonia, as well as specified care for solid organ and hematopoietic stem cell transplant recipients and children with HIV. Areas of interest for our fellows include: tropical medicine course, antimicrobial stewardship, global health, HIV, public health, transplantation and vaccination. The selected applicant will join a talented group of physicians including clinicians, researchers and educators at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, FL.
