Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Fellowship

This fellowship offers specialized consultation and liaison psychiatry training to provide comprehensive psychiatry care in the critical care setting, inpatient medical, obstetrical and surgical wards, rehabilitation units and ambulatory care settings.

Our program serves to develop medical leaders with expertise in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of patients with complex medical and psychiatric comorbidities.

Prerequisites:

Medical Licensing Examination:
All applicants must successfully complete United States Medical Licensing Examination Step 3 prior to the start of the program (a passing report is required). Candidates must be eligible to apply for a Florida medical license.

Postgraduate Training:
There is postgraduate training required in the form of a successfully completed ACGME-accredited general psychiatry program in the U.S. or equivalent in Canada.

• Three Letters of Recommendation (one must be from training director of general psychiatry residency program)
• USMLE Exam Scores (Steps 1, 2 and 3)
• Residency Certificate (if available)
  Valid ECFMG Certificate (foreign or international graduates)
• Visa Status

Deadline:
Applications are accepted from July to December. For eligible candidates, interview season is typically from late August to December.
