Pediatric Endoscopic Surgery Fellowship

The goal of the Pediatric Endoscopic Surgery Fellowship Program is to teach and mentor skilled and compassionate pediatric endoscopic surgeons and to mold future leaders in pediatric endoscopic surgery. Key features of the program include:

  • Large and varied operative experience
  • Primary management of pediatric surgery patients in critical care units, NICU, PICU, ECMO, major trauma and burns
  • Major experience in endoscopic surgery
  • Surgical nutrition
  • Major solid tumor experience
  • Continuity of care with clinic follow-up of operative cases
  • Interactive clinics with pediatric subspecialties
  • Clinical and laboratory research

Prerequisites:

  • Applicants for our Pediatric Endoscopic Surgery Fellowship Program must have satisfactorily completed a program in general surgery accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or the equivalent from their country of residence.
  • Applicants must be admissible to examination by the American Board of Surgery (or its equivalent) or be certified by that board.
  • International applicants must have completed the equivalent of a general surgery residency in their country of residence and/or be board-eligible or board-certified in their country.
  • The applicant must have passed USMLE Steps 1, 2 and 3 and/or a valid ECFMG Certificate (if applicable).
