We take care of veterans with a high degree of complexity and acuity. As an intern in our training program, you will be exposed to a wide variety of pathologies including but not limited to general surgery, vascular, thoracic, neurosurgery, etc. We are committed to training the best and most talented young physicians and to prepare them for a residency program. Program goals include learning the basics and advanced techniques in managing complex patients under full supervision of our team of intensivists and surgeons.

We are a NON-ACGME accredited program. Each of our 5 surgical critical care faculty is board-certified in both Anesthesiology and Surgical Critical Care and has years of experience in teaching and training medical students, house staff, and fellows.
