Body MRI Fellowship

Body MRI Fellowship

This one-year fellowship provides comprehensive training in musculoskeletal (MSK), body MRI, and cardiac imaging. The fellow participates daily in review of body and MSK MRI studies, active supervision of clinical services, protocols and monitoring of studies, consultations with referring physicians, teaching residents, MSK CT, MRI arthrography and cardiac and coronary CTA. Training is entirely at the UAMS Medical Center using state-of-the-art high field strength MRI scanners. Teleradiology readings are done for multiple open magnets, giving the fellow exposure to private practice imaging.

Conferences include daily case review, MRI case conference and MRI Journal Club (alternating weekly), and several interdisciplinary case conferences throughout the week. Participation in interdisciplinary conferences is expected, and there is ample opportunity for participation in active on-going MRI research.
