Developmental Behavioral Pediatric Fellowship

Developmental Behavioral Pediatric Fellowship

Akron Children’s Developmental Behavioral Pediatric Fellowship is an accredited training program in the United States. This three-year fellowship allows for training of two physicians each year who are board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics or Pediatrics/Internal Medicine.

The goal of the Developmental-Behavioral Pediatric Fellowship is to produce a developmental-behavioral pediatrician who is competent and proficient in the clinical care of children and adolescents with developmental and/or behavioral problems and is experienced in educating other professionals, as well as patients and their families. We are proud to offer a faculty-to-fellow ratio that supports individualized learning and ensures access to consistent clinical, educational, and research mentorship during fellowship training. Fellows in our program have the opportunity to participate in selected coursework with the Northeast Ohio Medical University, in the area of research methodology. There are numerous opportunities for scholarly activity within our division and the department.
