The Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey has opened a newly-accredited Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship which will be participating in the 2021 Match.
Our program’s mission is to train the next generation of academic neonatologists so that they can function as independent, competent, compassionate and well-rounded physician educators and physician-scientists.
A comprehensive clinical experience is provided at our state-of-the-art, Regional Perinatal Center at the Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital. Our educational goals emphasize clinical excellence and individualized scholarly research focused on each fellow’s interests. This is accomplished through a structured curriculum that includes perinatal physiology, clinical neonatology, research methodology, statistics and completion of a research project mentored by an experienced faculty member.
Our vast catchment area and diversity of expertise amongst our faculty, coupled with a vibrant pediatric residency program and academic research, provides an ideal setting for our Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship program.
