Th Ohio State University offers a post-match vacancy for their Neuro-Oncology Fellowship program.
The Neuro-Oncology Fellowship at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James) in Columbus, Ohio, is a United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UCNS)-accredited two-year program that provides excellent training for residents interested in a career in neuro-oncology. The program offers a rich curriculum that covers all areas of neuro-oncology in a multidisciplinary setting and offers very strong clinical and laboratory research opportunities.
The major strengths of the Program will include a highly academic institutional environment promoting the sponsoring institution and very strong specialty areas relevant to neuro-oncology practice and research. These include a very robust and highly successful neurosurgery program, two neuro-oncology labs with high levels of constant NIH funding and a new NCI designated Cancer Center providing state of the art facilities including radiation oncology and imaging. The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center/James Cancer Hospital Solove Research Institute currently boasts an exceptional rating from the NCI.
