Abdominal Imaging Fellowship

Vanderbilt University Medical Center Abdominal Imaging Fellowship program is currently accepting applicants for 2021-2022.

This is a one-year, clinically-based fellowship that provides a broad exposure to abdominal imaging in the setting of a tertiary care hospital with a level 1 trauma center, one of the nation's top solid organ transplant centers, as well as a comprehensive cancer center. Emphasis is placed on training in abdominal/pelvic MRI and CT/US-guided procedures, including drainages, biopsies and tumor ablation, in addition to CT, ultrasound and fluoroscopy. Fellows will also participate in multidisciplinary conferences, as well as radiology resident and medical student teaching.

Elective time of one month is offered, with previous fellows having pursued training in chest, second- and third-trimester OB ultrasound, CTA/MRA, neuroradiology, musculoskeletal, mammography, PET/CT, etc.

Three positions are offered each year.

We anticipate that the start date for accepting applications will be Aug. 1, 2020, and the start date for interviews will be Nov. 1, 2020.
