The Body Imaging and Intervention Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai is a clinically-based program for board-eligible physicians who want to subspecialize in body imaging and intervention radiology procedures that integrate computed tomography, ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging. Fellows benefit from training in a multifaceted healthcare setting that includes a comprehensive cancer center, high-volume transplant center and a Level 1 trauma center. The volume and variety of imaging studies, and unique approaches for the most complex clinical cases, enrich the curriculum with an unmatched training experience. Our close relationship with the Diagnostic Radiology Residency supplements the curriculum with educational opportunities across our interdisciplinary teams.
Rola Saouaf, MD, and Cindy Kallman, MD, are co-directors of the Cedars-Sinai Body Imaging and Intervention Fellowship. The faculty members are fellowship-trained, board-certified radiologists with expertise in all applications of body imaging and interventional radiology. Faculty members are committed to developing the medical knowledge, skills and competence essential to providing independent patient care.
Board-eligible residents who are currently enrolled in or have completed a diagnostic radiology residency in an ACGME-accredited program are welcome to apply. Program graduates have a 100 percent first attempt pass rate on the certifying exam by the American Board of Radiology.
