Burn Fellowship

Open burn fellow position at busy burn center with over 400 burn admissions yearly at an institution with a level 2 trauma center. We are located outside of Philadelphia, PA. The burn fellow would be responsible for daily care of the burn patient including critical care, bedside procedure, and operations.

The fellow will gain a breadth of critical care and wound care experience, participate in didactics, and have research opportunities. Bedside procedures include central lines, arterial lines, and bronchoscopy. Operative procedures include excision, allograft and other temporary coverage, split thickness and full thickness skin grafts, Recell, CEA, tracheostomy, PEG, amputations, etc. The fellow will also participate in PI, peer review of cases, and M&M conferences.

Prerequisites:

Applicant must have completed PGY1 and 2 years, categorical or preliminary, in general or plastic surgery.
