Our mission is to provide a comprehensive and fulfilling training program in the field of geriatric psychiatry and aging by means of diverse clinical care, individual supervision, small group seminars and case conferences, as well as clinical and scholarly research participation.
Here at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine and Jackson Memorial Hospital, we have a long and proud history of training outstanding geriatric psychiatrists to target the needs of this rapidly growing population. Medical Licensing Examination:
All applicants must successfully complete United States Medical Licensing Examination Steps 1, 2 and 3 prior to the start of the program.
There is postgraduate training required in the form of a successfully completed ACGME-accredited residency program in general psychiatry.
