Burn Fellowship

The Connecticut Burn Center is a state and regional resource providing burn and wound care for adult and pediatric patients in Connecticut and beyond.

The burn fellow will participate in the full range of burn care from acute resuscitation to reconstruction as well as in the critical care of major burns. There is also an opportunity to participate in trauma and general surgery operative cases. The burn fellow also participates in the quality and process improvement programs in the burn center, and will be active in the research efforts of the section of trauma and burns.

Prerequisites:

We offer a one-year burn fellowship for surgical residents who have completed at least PGY-2 of training at an accredited general surgery program.
