Internal Medicine Residency

Internal Medicine Residency

The Internal Medicine Residency Program at Chicago Medical School/Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (CMS/RFUMS) and the Captain the James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center (FHCC) provides a supportive yet challenging educational environment where residents prepare themselves under expert guidance for careers in all areas of Internal Medicine. CMS/RFUMS and the FHCC are committed to excellence in patient care, teaching, and research.

Our faculty of accomplished physicians and other scientists provides guidance and supervision to ensure that the highest quality of care always is delivered to our patients in a compassionate environment.

At the time of their graduation, our residents have acquired the knowledge and honed the skills for lifelong accomplishment in whatever field of medicine they choose, be it primary care, hospitalist practice, or the completion of a fellowship in one of the subspecialty fields.

We believe that there is no substitute for the comprehensive educational experience provided by residency training at CMS/RFUMS. Our residents are regarded and treated as colleagues, in an environment supported by faculty actively involved in the daily care of patients.
