General Surgery Residency-Preliminary Position

Stony Brook medicine has an unexpected opening for a Preliminary PGY-2 position starting September 2022.

Prerequisites:

All applicants must have successfully completed a PGY-1 position in an accredited ACGME program. Our institution will only sponsor J-1 visa's.

How To Apply:

Please submit the following into one document:

• Curriculum Vitae;
• Absite Scores;
• Final Summative Evaluation;
• USMLE transcript;
• Three (3) letters of recommendation (letters can be sent separate if waived the right to see and one letter must be from program director);
• Personal Statement;
• Medical School diploma;
• ECFMG (if applicable);
• Operative Case Log Report.
