Hematopathology Fellowship

Hematopathology Fellowship

NYU Langone’s Department of Pathology is now accepting applications for Hematopathology Fellowship, academic year 2022-2023.

The Department of Pathology at New York University Langone Medical Center offers a one-year ACGME accredited fellowship in hematopathology. This is designed to provide focused and in-depth experience in the diagnosis of hematopoietic diseases. Training is provided in all aspects of hematopathology, i.e., histology, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry and molecular pathology. Approximately 1300 solid lymphoid tissue specimens and 1500 bone marrow specimens are accessioned every year in the Division. The close relations with the Hematology/Oncology Section of the Department of Medicine provide access to additional material. The fellows are strongly encouraged to participate in research projects of the Division and to develop their own.
