Advanced Fellowship in Transplant Hepatology

Advanced Fellowship in Transplant Hepatology

The Advanced Fellowship in Transplant Hepatology offered by NYU Grossman School of Medicine through NYU Langone’s Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, is a one-year intensive clinical training program that prepares physicians to treat all patients with liver disease, steward patients and families through the transplant evaluation process, and work to improve access to transplants to traditionally underserved patient populations.

Accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), the fellowship meets American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) requirements for board certification in transplant hepatology.

During the fellowship, you work under the supervision of our expert hepatologists and gain extensive inpatient and outpatient clinical experience. You also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of clinical research projects related to liver disease and liver transplantation.
